The Best Delegation
Awarded to the school delegation whose delegates perform most consistently across every committee they enter. A delegation must register a minimum of eight delegates to be eligible.
Delegate Awards
Awarded in every committee, to the delegates whose research, diplomacy and command of the room set the standard.
Team Prizes
The two simulation committees, the IPL Auction and the FIA, are contested by teams rather than individual delegates, and carry their own cash prizes.

How Awards Are Won
The Executive Board of each committee marks delegates across the full three days. Nothing is decided by a single speech.
- Research & policy accuracy
- Does the delegate represent their portfolio faithfully? A brilliant argument that your country would never make is not a brilliant argument.
- Quality of debate
- Substance over volume. Clarity of reasoning, use of evidence, and the ability to respond to what was actually said, not to a version of it that is easier to attack.
- Diplomacy & bloc-building
- Consensus has to be constructed, clause by clause, concession by concession. Delegates who can bring a divided room toward workable language are marked accordingly.
- Documentation
- Position papers, working papers, amendments and draft resolutions: the written record of a committee counts as much as its speeches.
- Decorum
- Adherence to the rules of procedure and to the conduct expected of a delegate throughout the conference.
